It is the first time in the IPL history that the MI team is not giving their best 100% for the season IPL 2022. All Mumbai Indian Fans love Mumbai Indians Team the most, not because the owner of Mumbai Indians is the Richest person in India. All Ten Franchise of IPL has their best world talented players Since Mumbai Indians also have the best player with them, which remains on paper but not performing while on the field. What’s Happening to Mumbai Indians? What’s wrong goes with Mumbai Indians for this season?

A Team who Score more, that team will noise More!

The same fundamental rule will apply to this game.
Mumbai Indians were the Best Team in IPL, which Worldwide fans love the most. Since the inauguration of IPL in 2008, They have won Five times IPL Title. Mumbai Indians Brand Value is Rs 2,500 Crore for TATA Sponsered IPL season 2022, the second-highest brand value after Chennai Super Kings( Rs. 2700 Crore). The franchise owner is Mukesh Ambani, Reliance Industries Ltd (RIL).
Mumbai Indian teams have started with the worst performance from the first match on the field for IPL 2022 since they have picked up the greatest Batsman and fewer leading Bowler in the team. They have played 7 matches but unfortunately did not win a single game so far in the tournament. Hence Mumbai Indians have dragged down last to Number 10 in IPL point Table for this season. In the history of IPL, This happened for the first time.

Below are blunders made by Mumbai Indians, which resulted in continuously losing matches for this season.

Released 5 Big players of the previous season for IPL Mega auction 2022:

The selection committee of this franchise made blundered this season by releasing 5 Big players for IPL auction 2022, who have more support for the franchise to win the IPL title. Those Five players contributed efforts to IPL 2021 winning. Mumbai Indians had retained four players captain Rohit Sharma, Kieron Pollard, Jasprit Bumrah, and Suryakumar Yadav. After Retaining these players, MI had 48 Crores in remaining their Purse, While the most costly player of MI, Ishan Kishan, was picked up for Rs 15.25 Crore at the Two-day Mega Auction. The excess spending on Ishan Kishan makes MI hold less purse. They can buy more talented players like Quinton de Kock, who now plays for Lucknow Super Giants. Rahul Chahar is playing for Punjab Kings, Trent Boult is playing for Rajasthan Royals (RR), Krunal Pandya is playing for Lucknow Super Giants, and Hardik Pandya is now playing for Gujarat Titans.

Opening Pair Batsman with Poor Form:

Mumbai Indians have poor batting opening pair since captain Rohit Sharma and Ishan Kishan’s batting partnership is very poor. Both were bowled out in the first over of an inning without scoring a run in Mumbai vs. Super Kings match on DY Patil Ground on 21st April 2022. MI Captain Rohit Sharma has scored 114 runs and is yet to reach half-century for the season. Rohit Sharma is not solely responsible for the Mumbai Indians’ Thrashings in the IPL 2022. Wicketkeeper-batsman Ishan Kishan, the Most Costly player with Rs. 15.25 Crore buy of MI has scored 191 runs so far in the tournament. Both Inshan Kishan and Captain Rohit Sharma have struggled for runs in the IPL 2022. Day by day, Batting scores are decreasing for Ishan Kishan, making the Mumbai Indian fan feel sad.

Lost half of their Purse in Retaining of players:

The franchise has spent more than half of its purse on retaining 4 Players-Kieron Pollard (Rs.6 Crores), Rohit Sharma (Rs.16 Crores), Suryakumar Yadav (Rs.8 Crores), Jasprit Bumrah (Rs.12 Crores). Overspending on these Players, Mumbai Indians could not buy more Bowler in the team. The World-class Bowler Jasprit Bumrah only can not win the match for the whole season. They had only 48 Crores in their remaining purse after retaining 4 players. Also, overspend on Wicketkeeper-batsman Ishan Kishan; instead, they can buy one more player in that amount.

Overspending on Unavailable Overseas Player:

Mumbai Indians have the best talented and world-class players with them, including 8 overseas players, but they are not performing well on the field, it remains on the paper as you can see Fast Bowler Jofra Archer was bought Rs.8 Crores in the auction despite being aware of the player’s unavailability for TATA IPL 2022 due to his injury. Mumbai Indians have spent more crores on overseas players also – All Rounder Kieron Pollard (Rs.6 Crores), All Rounder Tim David (Rs 8.25 Croes), Bowler Tymal Mills(Rs 1.50 Crores), Bowler Riley Meredith (Rs Rs. 1 Crore), All Rounder Daniel Sams (Rs 2.60 Crores), All-Rounder Fabian Allen (Rs. 75 Lacs) and All Rounder Dewald Brevis (Rs. 3 Crores).

Mumbai Indians have Weak Bowling Attack:

Mumbai Indians have a weak bowling attack and bad bowling line-up since they have taken 36 total wickets from 7 matches played in IPL 2022. Due to unwanted bowling picks at auction, Mumbai Indians continue performing very badly, resulting in losses. Main Bowlers: Jasprit Bumrah, Jaydev Unadkat, Riley Meredith, and average Bowlers Daniel Sams, Fabian Allen, Dewald Brevis, and Kieron Pollard are not taking wickets as expected to take more wickets. Daniel Sams, Jaydev Unadkat and Riley Meredith are all run leakers only. Tymal Mills, Murugan Ashwin and Basil Thampi are below-average bowlers, and they might perform on just 1 occasion but will be a massive liability for the whole season.

Releasing bowlers like Boult, colter was the biggest mistake of MI Management. Earlier, they used to have the ever-brilliant Trent Boult, who guaranteed wickets in the powerplay and used to bowl an over or two at the death with an excellent economy rate.

Mayank Markande is still not played in any matches by MI. As far as Feilding concerned, Mumbai Indians also have Weak Fielding for this season.

All the above Reasons make Mumbai Indian blundered for this season, continuously losing matches. Mumbai Indians will play its 8th Match against Lucknow super Giants tonight. Let’s see who will win the match?
